There are two ways to register for a card.
Online
You may complete an online library card application and a confirmation postcard will be mailed to you. If you apply online, please bring your postcard along with an approved form of identification (listed below) to any branch to receive a library card.
In Person
You may also register in the library using a valid form of identification and a postcard will be mailed to verify your current address. You may check out 2 items at a time until the postcard is received and shown to one of our staff members.
Acceptable ID Methods
The following list of identification methods are considered acceptable for opening an account with the library:
- Consular Registration
- Driver’s License issued by a U.S. state or territory

- International Driver’s License/International Driver’s Permit

Individuals who cannot produce at least one of the above forms of ID are ineligible to apply for an account with the Logan County Public Library. These individuals are free to use library resources and spaces that do not require a library card.
