How much does a library card cost?

BLAST cards are 100% free.

 

What about fines for overdue books and movies?

Logan County Public Library does not charge fees for overdue materials. If library materials are more than 8 weeks late, a lost item fee will be charged.

 

What if my child already has a public library card?

Then there is no need to opt-in to receive a BLAST card. BLAST cards provide the same service, they are just provided through the school.

 

What if I want to get my child a regular library card rather than a BLAST card?

Visit any LCPL branch to obtain a card.

 

What if I lose my BLAST or regular library card?

Visit any LCPL branch to purchase a replacement card for $1.

 

What information does Logan County schools share with LCPL?

Student’s Name, Mailing and Physical (if different) address, Student’s date of birth, Guardian’s name, phone number, and email address if available.

Logan County Public Library does not share personal information, has a privacy policy, and has signed an agreement with the school district to protect the privacy of student information.
